About
OpenDover is a planned nonprofit for Dover, Delaware.
Its purpose is to make public information about Dover and the surrounding area open, accessible and useful. Its projects share one set of datasets. The first project is AskDover.
OpenDover is not a government body and is not affiliated with the City of Dover.
Paid for out of pocket
OpenDover and its projects are non-commercial, and always will be. There are no ads, sponsored placements, paid features or affiliate links, and visitor data is never sold or shared. If they could only continue as commercial sites, they would be shut down instead.
Who runs it
OpenDover is built by Aaron Hampton and developed by Serious Business. Copyright belongs to Serious Business Software LLC until the nonprofit is formed.
