Changelog
Changes to OpenDover's datasets and API, newest first.
November 7, 2026
- API version 1 is live at api.opendover.org: the dataset list, each dataset’s rows, whole-table downloads as CSV and JSON with a README, and saved copies by date.
- New:
/v1/datasets/{id}/changes?since=lists rows added or changed since a date, for tables that record it. Rows removed at the source are not listed. - New: the API is described in OpenAPI 3.1 at api.opendover.org/v1/openapi.json.
- Downloads are saved each morning, with a dated copy for each day the data changes. Add
?date=to a download link for an older copy. - Datasets: the first datasets are published after a review of each source’s license. Federal job listings, the Delaware State Housing Authority waitlist and money help page facts are added, with the parts their sources do not allow left out.
- Meeting transcripts of City Council and the Capital School District board are shared in full under CC BY 4.0, except statements by children and phone numbers or email addresses read aloud.
Version 1 will not remove or rename fields. A change that would is a version 2, and version 1 keeps working for at least a year after it starts.
